The client brief

As a result of a management buyout, a client needed to recruit a Finance Director. The client had appointed a London-based recruitment agency without success due to the candidates either not being the right quality or culture fit for their organisation.

 

The Bond Williams approach

Our Associate Director, Louise, met with the client to get a real feel for the business and more specifically what skills, experience and knowledge they needed from this new Finance Director to support and help grow the organisation. Louise quickly put her 30 years of specialist sector recruitment experience, local knowledge of the senior finance candidate marketplace and competitor knowledge to good use. By utilising her own personal network of contacts and scouring the market to headhunt potential candidates, she soon created a thorough shortlist of high calibre prospects who she proceeded to interview and pre-screen.

 

The outcome

A total of eight highly skilled and well qualified Finance Directors were put forward to the client, of which six were interviewed and two invited back to meet other Board members. An offer was made three weeks after we received the initial instruction.
