The Challenge
An Oxford-based biotech organisation needed to recruit a highly specialist scientist with a strong background in molecular biology.
The technical nature of the position meant the available candidate pool was naturally limited. The successful individual needed the right combination of academic credentials, specialist scientific knowledge and relevant practical experience to contribute within a highly technical biotech environment.
A PhD-level background in molecular biology was an important part of the requirement, significantly narrowing the number of potentially suitable candidates.
