Accountant required for a well established accounting firm supporting contractors, freelancers and SMEs, the role is office based in Ferndown. If you are AAT, ACCA or ACA qualified (or part-qualified) Accountant with practice experience, a keen eye for detail, and a passion for delivering outstanding client service then come and join this growing team and work with a diverse range of clients while developing your skills in a supportive, fast-paced environment.

What you’ll be doing:

• Preparing VAT returns, statutory accounts and corporation tax returns
• Reviewing financial records for accuracy and compliance
• Managing client queries and building strong relationships
• Working with accounting software and Microsoft Office
• Supporting clients and colleagues with clear, professional communication
• Helping drive excellent service and achieve team goals

What we’re looking for:

• At least 1-2 year’s accounting experience
• Practice background preferred
• Strong communication and organisational skills
• Accurate, detail-focused and proactive
• A team player who enjoys learning and developing
• Comfortable working in a busy and dynamic environment
