Neurodiversity: An introduction to Neurodivergence and Neuroinclusion

26 Sep 2023

Join us at our next Bond Williams seminar with guest speaker Hayley Brackley, of Great Minds Don’t for this insightful, informative and inspirational session, where we’ll dive into the world of neurodiversity.

Over the last 5 years, we’ve seen the word neurodiversity more and more, in a workplace and a social context. But what does it actually mean? And what does neurodivergence mean for your organisation?

With 20% of our population being neurodivergent, it’s imperative that we understand how our brains work differently and what we can do to support each and everyone to be their best self at work.

In this session we will cover:

  • What is neurodiversity and neurodivergence.
  • Language and terminology
  • An introduction to neurodivergent conditions and differences such as ADHD, Autism, Dyslexia, Dyspraxia and Tourette Syndrome.
  • Practical steps for fostering a culture of neuroinclusion.

A bit about Hayley:

Hayley was diagnosed with ADD and dyslexia back in 2002, when it was something that only applied to energetic and naughty little boys. Over the past 21 years, she’s seen the world of neurodiversity change and understanding grow.

Since founding Great Minds Don’t, a learning consultancy specialising in neurodivergence, she has worked with hundreds of teams, creating awareness and understanding through amazing training, and hundreds of individuals, building confidence and strategies through coaching.

NOTE: These events are for Business Owners, HR functions and employees whose roles are directly or indirectly related to HR functions.  If you do not fit these criteria, you may not be eligible to attend.
