How to put the Happy into Hybrid Working

The word Hybrid comes from the Latin hybrida which has been translated as ‘offspring of a tame sow and wild boar’ or ‘child of a freeman and a slave’.

No wonder it’s such a hot potato, and hard to get right. How do you handle something both wild and tame? And how do we make a success of something that has its roots in the soil of stability and containment and its branches in the space and unpredictable world above ground?

According to Yvonne, it’s by understanding and honouring both and about really knowing who we are and what we need and expect of ourselves and others to perform at our best. Yvonne will lead us on an exploration of what we need to consider to be able to accept and fully embrace different working styles and communication preferences within the context of hybrid working. The session promises to be both thought provoking and good fun.

Yvonne is passionate about people, communication, and relationships, who we are, how we behave and why and is a catalyst for growth. After 20 years in HR both in-house and as a consultant, she now specialises in raising awareness and holding a space for individuals and teams to explore ways to improve their working relationships whilst honouring who they are. She uses the Insights Discovery tool as a self-awareness accelerator and to offer a shared language and structure to get teams talking, to support personal growth and lasting changes in team dynamics.
