Bookkeeper required for well established and growing Accountancy Practice in Bournemouth.

Are you an experienced Bookkeeper with strong Xero skills looking to join a friendly and supportive accountancy practice?

My client is looking for a highly organised Bookkeeper to manage a portfolio of clients, handling day-to-day bookkeeping, VAT returns, and supporting clients with Making Tax Digital (MTD) requirements. You’ll work primarily with Xero, maintaining accurate financial records, preparing VAT submissions, reconciling accounts, and helping sole traders and landlords prepare for MTD for Income Tax.

What’s required?

• Proven bookkeeping experience, ideally within an accountancy practice
• Strong working knowledge of Xero
• Experience preparing and filing VAT returns under MTD
• Good Excel skills and excellent attention to detail
• Sage and FreeAgent experience would be an advantage

What’s on offer?

• Salary £30,000 – £40,000 DOE
