Our client is undergoing considerable change and are recruiting an Assistant Accountant to join their busy Finance Accounts team.

Reporting to the Financial Controller and working closely with a Management Accountant, you will have responsibility for:

* Overseeing small team and provide mentoring and development
* Record supplier invoices, credit notes and payments
* Post customer receipts and allocate correctly
* Processing daily credit card and other departmental receipts
* Ensure timely supplier payments
* Bank reconciliations
* Reconciliation of stocks and funds
* Assisting Management Accountant with month end close

Suitable Candidate
A good background of transactional accounting and supervisory experience would be essential, together with good IT skills (Excel and accounting software). AAT part or fully qualified an advantage but not essential.
