A new role for a highly skilled Test Technician has been created by a rapidly expanding scientific instrumentation manufacturer in Abingdon (OX14), providing cutting edge solutions to the most high tech industries.

Joining a small dedicated team, the Test Technician will responsible for the calibration and testing, calibration and approval of finished goods from the production teams.

Test Technician key responsibilities:

• Testing and calibration of finished products ready for despatch
• Recording, reviewing and filing test data
• Performing fault Finding investigations and reporting back in an appropriate format
• Working with engineering and production teams to contribute to continuous improvement initiative
• Working in a cross functional manner, liaising with a range of departments to completely understand systems and assemblies
• Willingness to travel and work with suppliers in places such as Taiwan (up to 30%)

The ideal Test Technician will have an extensive background of product testing and debugging, with experience in electronic, mechanical and optical manufacturing.
