Welcome to Bond Williams Events
We have been running Free Seminars since 2008 for HR and leadership professionals as well as people managers.
The world of HR changes at such a speed we know how busy you can be supporting everyone else, whilst not able to carve out time or allocate funds to developing yourself or your teams. These events are our way of giving back to you whilst also allowing you an opportunity to network, share your experiences, learn and collaborate with your peers and industry professionals. Over the years this community has grown and supported one another both within the forums and thereafter being of great value both personally and professionally. Running in partnership with specialists from across the board including our Yearly Employment Law Update, Mock Tribunals, NLP Practitioners, ACAS, Management and Leadership Trainers and Guest speakers, which have included a Premiership Manager and coach. Our aim is for the time you spend with us to be both thought-provoking, informative and well spent. In 2020 we moved our events to online for the foreseeable future and have expanded our quarterly sessions to monthly, giving clients easier access and making the sessions even more diverse and popular.
The Change Dance: Implementing change programmes that stick
Implementing any kind of change, big or small, needs to keep people at its centre in order that it is sustainable and delivers to its required outcomes. Rachel has developed a different approach to managing change based on her experiences in both corporate and charitable organisations, as well as her love of dance.
As many organisations adapt to different ways of working, adopting hybrid models, managing relationships with stakeholders and developing products and services to meet a changing world, it is vital that their people fully embrace the journey. Using many analogies and behaviours from the dance world, Rachel challenges innovative Leaders, Project Managers and HR Professionals to implement change that sticks, putting ‘people’ firmly at the centre using a similar approach to choreographing an amazing and memorable group dance.
Rachel Atkinson has over 20 years’ experience working in senior roles in HR, with half of these being in the charity sector. Most recently Rachel led the Strategic Business Partner team at the RNLI until last August when, like many others during 2020, Rachel decided to have a lifestyle change and set up her own consultancy. Rachel is not a fan of the term HR and prefers to call herself a People Choreographer rather than an HR Consultant. She sees her role as working with courageous leaders who are purpose focussed for a better world, taking their vision, and choreographing their people to achieve this. Rachel prides herself in having a future focussed approach that questions and disrupts tradition, ensuring that workplace communities are amazing places for people to be.
