We’re working with a successful engineering business looking to recruit an experienced Southern Regional Sales Manager to join their UK sales team.

This is a commercially focused field sales role for someone with proven experience selling capital plant or capital equipment into engineering or manufacturing environments. You’ll be responsible for developing new business, managing key customer relationships, and delivering high-value technical solutions across a defined Southern territory.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop new business and grow existing customer accounts across the Southern region
• Manage the full sales cycle for high-value capital plant and equipment
• Build strong relationships with customers and distribution partners
• Identify new market opportunities and drive sales growth
• Prepare quotations, proposals, and commercial presentations
• Work closely with internal teams to deliver customer solutions
• Maintain an accurate sales pipeline and CRM

Requirements:

• Proven experience in a technical field sales role
• Previous experience selling capital plant or capital equipment is essential
• Engineering or manufacturing industry experience is essential
• Experience managing long sales cycles and high-value projects
• Strong business development and key account management skills
• Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills
• Self-motivated and comfortable managing a large territory independently

What’s on Offer:

• £55,000 basic salary + uncapped commission, OTE £85,000+
• 25 days’ annual leave plus bank holidays
