Service Advisor – Poole – £29,000 + Bonus

Bond Williams are working with a client in Poole to recruit an experienced Service Advisor. This role is a key part of the front-of-house team, supporting the workshop and service department to ensure vehicles are booked, processed, and completed efficiently. You’ll be the first point of contact for customers, managing enquiries, coordinating work, and ensuring an excellent customer experience.

Responsibilities

• Managing all service telephone and walk-in enquiries professionally.
• Preparing job cards to ensure smooth workshop operations for retail, warranty, and internal work.
• Updating customers on the progress of their vehicles throughout the day.
• Handling customer service and repair requests efficiently and courteously.
• Conducting pre-appointment service calls and ensuring customer requirements are fully understood.
• Explaining work carried out on vehicles and obtaining authorisation for additional work.
• Preparing and presenting invoices, ensuring accurate job costing and payment collection.
• Supporting the promotion of additional services, products, and manufacturer campaigns.

Requirements

• Previous experience as a Service Advisor, preferably within a premium automotive brand.
• Strong customer service and communication skills.
• Organised, detail-oriented, and able to prioritise workload effectively.
• Confident in handling customer complaints and challenging situations professionally.
• Understanding of vehicle service processes, invoicing, and job management systems.
• Ability to work collaboratively with workshop teams and other colleagues.
• Knowledge of GDPR and data protection principles an advantage.
• A proactive attitude with a focus on customer satisfaction and efficiency.
