Professional recruitment firms now have 2% more vacancies on their books in 2016 than this time last year according to a new survey from the Association of Professional Staffing Companies.

Vacancies within the Accounting & Finance sectors also continue on a noticeable incline with a 12% increase in permanent vacancies year-on-year.
Information from Bournemouth based recruitment agency Bond Williams supports this trend. They are reporting a 20% increase in job vacancies in February 2016 over the same month last year. Robert Bond, Director at Bond Williams says:

“This increase in job vacancies compared to a year ago shows solid demand from local employers for high-quality new employees to support their organisation’s business plans for 2016, a systematic shift that we are excited to be at the forefront of.”

Temporary and contract vacancies have also increased across the professional recruitment market with opportunities up by 6% year-on-year.
