Did you know that on average, only 7% of your workforce are working to their full potential? 27% are working below 50% of their potential and 50% feel they won’t be rewarded and recognised if they put in additional effort. Shockingly, 1 in 4 people don’t want to put in extra effort in case it results in extra business!

This morning saw one of our most successful events to date with over 50 HR Professionals in attendance at our quarterly HR Seminar at AFC Bournemouth, Vitality Stadium. The interactive workshop, expertly presented by Senior Manager Performance Coach Dee Clayton of Simply Amazing Training was centred on increasing employee engagement, retention and improving motivation.

The programme was designed to help people that may feel their teams are not fully engaged and are looking for ways to improve motivation; this could be for less motivated team members or for ways to give high performers a boost. The workshop taps into the reasons why you may feel demotivated, perhaps when you know you should be motivated, and what causes this? What might be blocking you and those around you?

The morning workshop explored:

How to identify values, deeper motivators and drivers.

Analysing motivators and the true cost of low motivation

The 9 motivators you must understand before you can improve performance

Your own personal motivators linking individual performance

The 3 Keys to optimising any team’s energy and engagement levels continually.

As always, the seminar was a great success and well-received by the 50 senior HR professionals who attended. A valuable element was taking the knowledge, and understanding how to apply it to team-work within the business environment to maximise retention.

Claire Bond; Director at Bond Williams commented on today’s seminar:

“The seminar this morning was a real enabler for change; motivation isn’t typically considered when hiring or promoting within an organisation even though it is critical to performance so it was an eye-opener to see how this affects efficiency within a team. Once you know what essentially motivates you then you can make better decisions in all aspects of your professional life, and even better, if you know what motivates each of your team you can tailor reward strategies to meet each individual’s needs.

Thank you to Dee for an enjoyable and valuable morning and also to everyone who attended, we would love to hear how you use this to maximise your employee or team performance within your own company.”

Each of our events focus on an area of immediate relevance, including employment law, professional development and HR innovations. You will be able to ask relevant questions of the speaker and each attendee is issued with a personal certificate of attendance, which can be used as supporting evidence with CPD credits.
