The Technology Manager (Mechanical & Industrial) will work as a member of the R&D team providing leadership and support the design, development, and optimisation of products to meet current and future business requirements. With specific focus on the the overall layout of all components (mechanical, electrical and electronics) and associated material specifications, the role will require close co-ordination with the product design and R&D Packaging teams.

Advanced degree in Mechanical Engineering, Material Science or closely related major scientific/engineering discipline, or equivalent scientific ability based on relevant experience and education.

Work Experience:
Minimum of 3 years of experience in a variety of R&D product/material development roles or other related experience.

Language & Computer Skills:
Excellent computer skills. Good working knowledge of AutoCAD or 3-D drawing software (Solidworks) is desirable. Good working knowledge of SAP is desirable. Must possess excellent verbal and written communication skills in English, other languages are considered a plus.

Functional Skills:
Design & Development, Mechanical, Electrical, electronics, Material Specifications, Industrial design, Novel material technology, Testing & verification process, Intellectual property.


  • London Weighting allowance – £2,125 per annum
  • Company bonus – 20% of annual basic salary (based on Company performance & not guaranteed)
