Our client, a leading company with an office based in Ringwood are currently looking to recruit a Team Leader. You must have Financial Services experience for this role. This is an exciting opportunity to join a growing company who are going from strength to strength.
Duties:

  • Lead, monitor and manage team performance, ensuring a focus on volume and quality of work produced and the provision of a timely, professional and compliant service to our clients.
  • Build and maintain effective relationships with internal/external clients by resolving service issues and acting as an ambassador for the Client Service department.
  • To ensure effective allocation and prioritisation of resources in order to deliver the Divisions KPI’s and service levels.
  • To work with sales Executives to ensure that there is a smooth flow of work throughout the month for the team.
  • To be responsible for identifying training requirements and building the skills and knowledge of the team.
  • Motivate the team to maintain high morale, low absenteeism and turnover.
  • Provide a forum which allows staff to participate in the operation of the team.
  • Hold effective monthly 1:1 meetings and team meetings and bi-annual performance reviews.
  • Monitor individual performance, through audits and file checks, providing feedback and taking appropriate action.
  • To check team’s work for compliance and completeness in line with agreed standards.
  • Be responsible for recruitment and selection of own team members based on headcount targets and required skill sets.
  • To achieve personal objectives and to contribute to change projects and continuous improvement activity as per the Divisional operating plan.
  • To communicate information to staff to ensure all relevant Company plans and procedural changes are cascaded and understood.
  • To verify and establish accuracy of MI with particular reference to the revenue stream.
  • To proactively manage own workload e.g. portfolio/client work as appropriate.

Experience Required:

  • Team leader experience.
  • Experience of working within a Financial Services environment.
