Solution Architect (SC Eligible) – Hampshire or London
A Solution Architect is required by a sought-after and successful security organisation. Experience in interacting with customers, requirements gathering, developing and analysing system-level architecture, generation technical specifications, and delivering technical solutions is required.
This position requires eligibility for Security Clearance (i.e. you must be a British Citizen and lived in the UK for 10+ years). If you already have current Security or DV Clearance this would be highly advantageous.

MUST be eligible for Security Clearance as mentioned above
Degree Qualified or equivalent experience in a relevant engineering, scientific or technical-based discipline
Strong interpersonal skills, including the ability to create influence
Ability to build constructive relationships with clients
Strong verbal and written communication skills
Ability to demonstrate understanding of Deployed and Tactical Military Domains in areas such as Communications Bearers, Deployed Networks, Specialised Application Infrastructure, Autonomous Applications and Security & System Management
Experience within one or more of MOD environments (Air, Land, Maritime, C4ISR )
Track record in leading the development of solutions
Ability to identify and assess risks and to advise on risk mitigation strategies
Understanding of service-based architecture
Ability to work with a range of technical and non-technical stakeholders
Application of Architecture Frameworks (e.g. TOGAF, MODAF, Archimate) and use of CASE tools
Requirements Engineering including Analysis and Management through life, including use of tools such as DOORS
Knowledge of the Systems Engineering lifecycle phases
Knowledge of Communication Networks, Protocols and Gateways (e.g. PSTN, Fixed and Mobile IP Data, WiFi)
Knowledge of a range of enterprise-scale ICT delivery mechanisms and software technologies (including Application Hosting, Big Data, DevOps and Virtualised Cloud Services)
