Senior IT Sales Executive required to join an aspirational and pro-active company with proven success of building a network of clients in the IT and cloud managed services market. Fantastic opportunity to join an expanding sales team for an internationally renowned local company which is currently undergoing a period of unprecedented growth.

The Senior Sales Executive will have the opportunity to work with a huge variety of products and services, delivering high quality technical solutions to global clients of all sizes.

Based within the New Forest, the Senior Sales Executive will:

  • Build a network of contacts within the industry and become proficient at working with clients to identify opportunities where technology and solutions could be used to support and expand their businesses. There is both a cold calling and account management element to the position, a 60-40 split in net new sales v existing client sales, providing a monthly recurring revenue and net new business for which the individual is rewarded with a generous commission scheme.
  • Form part of a busy pre and post sales team, becoming fully involved in the process of delivering a project or solution from first contact to final delivery.
  • Work alone and as part of a team to generate leads and sales and to research areas of the market to understand why certain services and technologies might be proposed.
  • Work closely with the technical teams who will provide support in creating and discussing solutions with potential clients exposing them to a range of leading technologies.

The successful Senior Sales Executive will have:

  • Proven track record in sales within a technology service environment from lead generation through to solution driven results.
  • Strong knowledge and interest in technology and industry trends with a desire to learn about Information Technology and new and emerging technologies
  • Good understanding of project delivery and long-term account management objectives
  • Ability to conduct negotiations at a C-suite level
  • Excellent teamwork skills as well as an aptitude for independent working
