Sales Director – Salary DOE – Dorset Our client, a leading company based in Dorset are currently looking for a Sales Director to join their team. They are looking for someone who has experience in either Risk, Travel or Medical. The role will predominately be based in Dorset but there will be an option to work remotely a couple of days per week. You will report into the Group Managing Director. Duties:
Assume responsibility for the leadership, motivation and performance of the sales teams.
Work to help define the most appropriate tactical strategy, daily, monthly and annually.
Be an inspirational sales leader who is comfortable leading a team of Account Directors and Business Development Managers.
Put in place performance metrics and ensure that KPI’s are hit.
You will be the face of the company and will therefore be responsible for both speculative meetings and meeting existing clients.
You will have overriding responsibility for the smooth running of each account to ensure the highest level of standards are delivered and maintained.
Coach, train and guide the team to create a winning environment.
Establish SMART objectives for self and team.
Ensure the team adhere to company processes and procedures.
Development and implementation of sales strategies to drive performance.
Play a key part in complex solution development.
Achieve budgeted revenue and growth in line with company objectives.
5 years experience in a Senior Sales position with a proven track record.
The ability to lead and grow a national sales function.
Experience of B2B sales.
Experience of Sales Force would be an advantage.
