Resource Manager – Salary: £200 per day – Didcot

Contract

Reource/Project Coordinator required on a 6 month contract to report to Head of Business Operations for a non-profit organisation within the Public Sector.

This position consists of two main responsibilities:

Manage and forecast all resource requirements:

    • Lead the forecasting of resourcing levels ensuring they are managed for the delivery teams working in collaboration with Value Stream Programme Managers, Principal Expertise Leads, Bid Managers, Other Managers and HR and the wider Catapult to ensure resourcing needs are met
    • Model future demand and ensuring future opportunities are captured in the project pipeline. Provide regular reports on the resource position (present and future) highlighting gaps
    • Work closely with bid team to review of the resourcing needs for bid activity and provide input to bid team
    • Drive resource utilisation to proactively manage resourcing levels
    • Provide innovative and creative solutions to resourcing needs
    • Lead identification of skill gaps or contracting requirements in conjunction with Managers and HR. Have a thorough understanding of the Catapult skills and expertise working closely with HR
    • Report and provide action plans of resourcing forecasts, utilisation and availability. Presenting of strategic analysis to senior stakeholders including executive and board level members
  • Process / system evaluation – suggesting improvements and implementation plan.
    • Identify and implement new systems, processes and procedures to ensure the ongoing work associated with forecasting resources is as effective, and efficient as possible
