Our client, a family owned business based in Blandford are currently looking to recruit a Project Manager. This is a unique opportunity to join a company that are growing. You will be responsible for identifying and managing key risks and issues, communicating regularly with key stakeholders and delivering in line with customer needs and requirements.

Duties:

  • Define and document project scope, goals and deliverables that support project and business objectives in collaboration with senior management and stakeholders.
  • Develop and maintain full-scale detailed and high-level project plans.
  • Report on all key or payment milestones.
  • Identify, document and manage stakeholder and communications logs and plans.
  • Effectively communicate project expectations to project team members and stakeholders.
  • Estimate the project resource demands required to achieve project goals and manage all resources required to execute the project.
  • Identify changes in staff requirements and act and respond as appropriate and in a timely manner.
  • Create and submit budget proposals and recommend subsequent budget changes where necessary.
  • Identify and manage project risks, issues, assumptions, dependencies and opportunities and report as appropriate.
  • Develop and manage project costs in line with approved budgets including labour, hardware and 3rd party costs.
  • Develop and deliver progress reports and present to the appropriate project checkpoint or board meetings.
  • Manage project change bearing in mind Scope, Time and Cost ensuring any changes are identified, assessed and implemented as appropriate.
  • Travel to customer sites across the UK will be required in accordance with business needs and abroad should the project require it although that is likely to be infrequent.

Experience Required:

  • At least 5 years practical project management experience.
  • Experience deliver large scale, complex, government projects.
  • Technical expertise.
  • Relationship management.
  • Experience of working with Product development and Software Development using various methodologies such as waterfall and agile techniques.
  • You must either hold or be eligible to apply for SC level security clearance
