Product Owner / Business Analyst required by our prestigious and fast growing Dorset based client.
As a Product Owner, your primary responsibility is to maximise the value of the product delivered based on the Product Vision. To do this you will represent the needs of the customer by keeping key capabilities and desired outcomes in mind.
You will be responsible for:
Being the only person responsible for maintaining and prioritising the Product Backlog.
Working closely with the Scrum Master to ensure the Product deliverables are ready for team to work on.
Developing a deep understanding of the customer requirements and act as a proxy between the customer and development team to effectively progress development solutions.
Elaboration of Epics, Themes and Features into user stories that are granular enough to be achieved in a single sprint.
Working with development teams in estimation and review sessions.
Maintaining the development team’s focus on delivering value, balancing multiple streams of requirements so they can concentrate on creating a great product.
You will bring:
Knowledge of Agile Software development processes.
Some exposure to Agile and/or experience of working with co-located and distributed teams.
Good communication and collaboration skills
Self-starter with a proactive attitude.
Experience of some agile methodologies e.g. Scrum or Kanban.
Any Product Owner/Business Analyst Certification.
