Procurement Manager – £Competitive – South Oxfordshire
A Procurement Manager is required by a reputable and long-established specialist manufacturer in South Oxfordshire. This is a pivotal role in a fast moving business focused on managing the purchasing function and building partnership relationships with a global portfolio of suppliers.
Closely monitor material costs and effectively negotiate with new and existing suppliers to secure optimum pricing deals
Manage supply chain including overseas imports and liaising with foreign suppliers
Establish and maintain positive supplier relationships
Responsible for value of raw material stock held, driving efficiency with stock-holding
Manage all utility contracts for the business
Key Skills and Requirements:
A recognised procurement/purchasing qualification, or substantial relevant experience
Manufacturing background a distinct advantage
Organised and self-motivated with the ability to work under pressure
