A Payroll Officer is being recruited by Bond Williams Accounting and Finance for a charitable group of companies based in Bournemouth.
Reporting to the Finance Manager, you would have responsibility for processing a large monthly payroll for up to 350 employees including processing expenses and timesheets, preparing statutory returns, ensuring tax and third party payments are paid on a timely basis, monitoring sickness and calculating sick pay, SSP and unpaid sickness, assisting the finance team with payroll information for journals and budgets as required, dealing with payroll queries and assisting auditors with compliance checks and audits.
You will need to have previous large company payroll experience, have up to date knowledge of payroll legislation and regulations and strong Excel (VLookUps, Pivot Tables). In return, an excellent working environment is offered, pension, 35 hour week.
