Our client, a leading insurance company, are currently looking to recruit an Insurance Account Executive to join their team. You will be responsible for managing the B2B side of the business whilst servicing a book of new and existing clients. Previous Insurance and Account Management experience is essential for this role.

Duties:
·Manage client/prospect/introducer relationships and grow the book/existing accounts, providing the most appropriate insurance and risk management solutions.
·Negotiate with insurers to obtain terms for clients that accurately and effectively match customer requirements.
·Manage own workload in order to effectively service the client relationship and ensure placements are completed within client deadlines.
·Ensure client information and sales plans are kept up to date.
·Provide realistic plans and forecasts on customer performance.
·Establish and manage a sales pipeline of potential clients.
·Analyse and interpret sales data to identify unexpected patterns and trends.
·Build up a sales pipeline of business opportunities that will ensure sales targets are met.
·Proactively seek out commercial opportunities and partnerships.
·Promote and sell additional applications and services to clients.
·Investigate and discover new sources of profitable business for the Operating Division and Group as a whole, including cross-selling.
·Work closely with Internal Underwriting and Insurers to negotiate terms and conditions of placements.
·Deal with internal and external queries from colleagues / underwriters / Insurers.
·Ensure that premiums are paid in accordance with credit control requirements.

Experience Required:
·Previous demonstrable experience in an Account Executive, comfortable working to targets.
·Tactical negotiation and influencing experience with internal/external stakeholders.
·Proven rapport-building experience with internal/external stakeholders.
·Evidence of effectively prioritising risks to manage concurrent work flow.
·Able to identify potential problems and seek advice/consultation when required.
·Robust knowledge of client market and insurance industry network.
·Able to quickly grasp and interpret salient information to maximise growth opportunities.
