Group Risk Advisor required to join our client, a well-established company based in Ringwood. This is an exciting opportunity to join a global company providing technical support within the team, assisting in the proactive management of your own workload and providing a professional service to clients.

Duties:

  • Act as primary point of contact for client servicing issues, establishing effective relationships with clients.
  • Produce professional and complete documentation/correspondence in a compliant manner.
  • Work on own initiative and to prioritise client enquiries effectively, keeping the Team Leader informed of workload and delays in processing.
  • Take pride in maintaining and auditing accurate and thorough records, including membership data, products and services, claims information and financial data, paying attention to the need for cross referencing and checking details.
  • Build rapport with clients, providers and colleagues.
  • Ensure that all business activity is logged on core systems so that revenue can be accurately recorded and monitored.
  • Demonstrate an enthusiasm and interest in gaining knowledge of additional Group products and propositions.
  • Take ownership of all tasks relating to allocated portfolio and to proactively manage priorities and deadlines, delivering reports and client documentation accordingly.
  • Maintain professional relationships with clients, insurers and colleagues.
  • Support and deliver some of the training to new team members, as requested, and provide effective coaching to colleagues.
  • Proactively suggest improvements in working methods to benefit clients and streamline processes.
  • Demonstrate and apply an in-depth knowledge of insurance and other related products.
  • Ownership for the proactive resolution of client concerns to prevent escalation ensuring client retention.
  • Carry out audits and feedback the results to the team and management as required.
  • Hold effective monthly 1-1 meetings, team meetings and biannual performance reviews.
  • Present standard risks to the relevant insurers to enable a quotation to be provided.

Skills and Requirements:

  • Previous Group Risk experience is essential for this role.
  • A completed GR1 exam would be desired or someone who is prepared to take the exam.
  • Strong customer service skills with stakeholder management.
  • Excellent knowledge within the financial services industry.
  • Strong organisational skills including planning and delivering.

Hours and Benefits:

  • Hours – Monday to Friday 9am-5pm
  • Free onsite parking
