Financial Services Administrator-Salary DOE £20K-£23K-Wimborne
Financial Services Administrator required to join our client a well-established company based in Wimborne. Providing telephony and administration support to the company’s savings and mortgage customers, this role is an exciting opportunity for an experienced administrator within Financial Services.
Process all department transactions efficiently, accurately within the agreed timescales.
Act as first point of contact to new savings and mortgage customers.
Speak to new customers, promoting the company’s savings products.
Provide accurate and sometimes technical administration support to both savings and mortgage customers.
Savings tasks to include processing: payments, closures, withdrawals, new accounts, deaths, Power of Attorney registrations, bond maturities and opening new accounts and complying with money laundering regulations.
Mortgage tasks to include processing: mortgage completions (to include dealing with solicitors on completion), capital repayments, direct debits, redemptions, retentions and speak to customers that want to change payments/term on their mortgage.
Process online transactions through the company’s online functionality, to include providing technical support to customers when required.
Provide support to the retention officer role (to include customer contact, follow up calls etc).
Produce reports and management information (MI) as requested.
Key Skills and Requirements:
Exceptional customer service and administration experience.
Strong background within the Financial Services industry preferably within savings and mortgages.
Forward-thinking and able to put suggestions for improvement forward and implemented.
Strong multitasker with a keen eye for detail.
Certificate in Retail Banking/CMAP or willing to work towards the qualification.
