A Finance Manager is being exclusively recruited by Bond Williams Accounting and Finance for Forres Sandle Manor School based in Fordingbridge, an independent preparatory day and boarding school for boys and girls aged 3-13 years.
Reporting to the Head, you would have responsibility for all aspects of the school finances including: * Purchase Ledger, Petty Cash, Bank and Cash Management * Fees/Billings * VAT and HMRC returns * Payroll – management of the outsourced payroll and pensions
You will also review internal financial procedures and controls and ensure monthly accounting routines and reconciliations are completed including reconciliation of key balance sheet accounts of debtors, creditors, cash and loan accounts and maintaining fixed assets. You will also need to ensure full compliance with statutory reporting requirements to Companies House, Charity Commission, ICO and ONS and preparation of TB and supporting schedules for audit purposes. In addition, you will prepare monthly management reports, cashflow forecasts, management of the budget process, analyse capital expenditure projects and handle and other ad hoc financial duties.
You will need to have a part or full accounting qualification with experience of producing management accounts, budgets and year end accounts. Experience of working within a school or charity would be a distinct advantage. A DBS would be required. Excellent working environment.
