A talented and conscientious Accounts Assistant is required to join a prestigious business that prides itself on having quality products and the highest levels of customer service. The Accounts Assistant will be responsible for the timely and accurate processing of supplier and customer invoices and purchase orders using Sage accounting software and the ad hoc cover for other members of the department. Responsibilities include:
Processing and matching invoices to stock
Processing and coding invoices
Reconciling supplier statements
Answering supplier queries
Preparation of payment runs
Checking and distribution of invoices
Producing customer statements using sage
This role would be well suited to an experienced accountancy professional who has been responsible for the Purchase Ledger and Sales Ledger functions in previous roles. The ideal candidate will be able to manage their work load effectively and able to process financial data with a high degree of accuracy and in a timely manner. Due to the complexity of the invoicing the right candidate will need to have a high level of attention to detail and be able to apply their knowledge to various scenarios to work off their own initiative.
