A Finance Assistant is being recruited exclusively by Bond Williams Accounting and Finance for a successful Poole based client.
Reporting to the Assistant Accountant, you would have primary responsibility for the company’s sales ledger for their UK and US operations: raising invoices and credit notes, undertaking credit checks, updating customer records, placing accounts on hold when necessary, resolving customer queries, supervising and assisting the credit controller with outstanding debt collection, allocating payments received to correct sales accounts, bank reconciliations,ECSales and Intrastat production, month end reconciliations and providing cover for purchase ledger.
You will need to have previous sales ledger, credit control and purchase ledger experience, be able to resolve supplier queries, chase outstanding debts and assist with month end processes. You will also need Intermediate Level Excel and ideally a part AAT qualification. A good working environment is offered, 35 hour week, parking, pension.
