Accounts & Payroll Assistant – Temp – Poole – £12 per hour
Our client is recruitment for an Accounts & Payroll Assistant to join their busy team. This role will support the finance controllers and support the day to day running of the finance team. The main aspect of this role is support the team to process payroll for over 150 employees.
Main responsibilities: Payroll
Processing the monthly payroll ensuring that deadlines are met and accuracy is maintained.
Collating time sheets, checking against clock reports and loading onto weekly and monthly wages sheets
Managing the pension plans
Processing starters and leavers to the plans and completing all relevant paperwork.
Processing new starters and leavers, including leavers holiday allowances adjustments to final pay.
Administration of the process
Responding to employee queries re payroll.
Producing payroll reports when required.
Matching supplier invoices to purchase orders on the in-house production software
Loading supplier invoices onto SAGE 50 accounts.
Raising and following up invoice queries with suppliers.
Checking supplier statements against SAGE and requesting copy invoices if needed.
Sending suppliers remittance advices once payments have been made.
Raising and processing sales invoices on the in-house production software
Bank reconciliations of the multiple company bank accounts.
Updating and reconciling the cash flows.
Previous experience within a similar role
AAT qualified or currently studying
Experience in Sage 50 & Sage Payroll
Excellent working knowledge of excel
Attention to detail and accuracy
The working hours for this role are Monday – Friday 8.30am – 5pm with 30 minutes lunch.
This role could go permanent for the right person.
