Accounts Payable Team Leader/Supervisor – Weymouth – £Comp
Bond Williams Accounting and Finance are recruiting an Accounts Payable Team Leader for a large manufacturing organisation based in Weymouth.
The Accounts Payable Team Leader will report in to the Financial Controller and oversee and support a team of 4 to ensure the efficient running of the purchase ledger function. This would include: ensuring strict controls are maintained to meet best practice levels, dealing with complex supplier queries, generation of BACS and foreign payments runs, suspense account queries, KPI reports, reconciliation of supplier statements, assisting with expense claim investigations, ensuring correct treatment of VAT and other ad hoc duties.
To be considered for this position, you will need to have previous Senior/Supervisory Purchase Ledger experience and be able to mentor junior staff. In addition you will need to have strong interpersonal qualities, be able to develop strong internal and external relationships and ideally experience of SAP. Strong Excel is essential, AAT qualified or equivalent. A good working environment is offered and competitive salary and benefits.
To be considered for this role you will need to have current or very recent Purchase Ledger experience at a Senior/Supervisory level, have strong IT skills especially Excel and have good verbal and written communication skills. An excellent working environment is offered and competitive salary.
