An Accounts Assistant is required to join a performing and successful business based in Poole for a 12 month fixed term contract. As Accounts Assistant you will be responsible for the maintenance and day to day management of financial ledgers ensuring the timely collection and processing of payments. responsibilities to include:
* Reconciling supplier statements
* Investigation of any discrepancies
* Resolving supplier queries
* Reconciling the sales ledger
* Investigation of any unassigned cash
* Resolution of outstanding balances
The successful candidate will have a proven track record of working in an accounting role previously and be proficient with a range of systems including Ms Office and excel. There will be a need to work off your own initiative with a “problem solving mentality” and a desire to make a positive impact with your work.
