An experienced Accounts professional is required by a prestigious employer in the Weymouth locality. Joining an established and welcoming team to provide the Finance piece of this busy operation. Offering a competitive salary and on-site parking.
As Company Accountant you will be responsible for the finance function and its processes in a stand alone role reporting in to the operations manager. Responsibilities to include:
* Preparation of monthly accounts
* Payroll administration
* VAT returns
* Remaining up to date and in line with current legislation
* Credit Control
* Cash Flow Management
* identifying areas for efficiencies and process improvements
* Spreadsheet and database management
The ideal candidate for this role will have experience of working in a stand alone finance role previosuly, be highly organised and have a desire to take ownership of the finance function in a multifaceted business. They will need excellent communication skills and be able to prioritise workloads effectively to manage their working day effectively. A problem solving mind set and that ability to simplify and organise dilapidated processes will be pivotal in the initial stages. A great role for someone who likes to work with a great deal of autonomy as an integral part of the wider business. You will need to be well versed in MS office and using Excel, being Part Qualified or having completed your AAT or Bookkeeping qualification will also be advantageous.
