3rd Line IT Support Engineer – Wimborne – £28-31,000 p.a.
A 3rd Line IT Support Engineer is required by a growing customer-centric Managed Service Provider based in Wimborne. A strong IT background with 3rd line support experience is essential. Any experience working for an MSP or IT Consultancy would be preferred.
Provide 3rd line support on the IT service desk
Support a variety of software and infrastructure systems including Exchange, AD, virtualisation, cloud, networks, server administration and desktop applications
Be an escalation point from 1st and 2nd line support teams
Getting involved in specialist IT projects
Strong recent experience in a 3rd line support capacity
Strong IT service desk background
Broad experience across Windows Server, Networking, Virtualisation and Cloud Services (e.g. Office 365/ Sharepoint/ VMware/ LAN/ VLAN/ DNS/ DHCP/ Ethernet etc.)
Experience of Microsoft Exchange and Active Directory
Excellent communication and customer engagement skills
Experience working for an MSP or IT Consultancy is desirable
The salary on offer is between circa £28-31,000 p.a. depending on your previous experience and skills. Non-obligatory overtime is available if you wish to earn additional hours. Benefits include 23 days holiday increasing to 25 plus all bank holidays, 5% company pension scheme, and excellent training and career development opportunities with full support from colleagues and managers.
