Typist / Administrator – Bournemouth – £20,000 – £23,000

A Typist / Administrator is required for our client, a small yet busy solicitors office based in Bournemouth. The successful candidate will provide secretarial support to the team to enable them to work to optimum efficiency and to work alongside another secretary in the team.

Key responsibilities:

  • Answer incoming calls in a timely and professional manner
  • Meet and greet clients who attend the office for meetings
  • Deal with general enquiries, callers and suppliers at reception
  • Prepare correspondence and documents through audio-typing and word processing to include letters, documents, forms and witness statements
  • Ensure all documents are filed in the correct order and maintained according to strict policies
  • Liaise with clients to arrange meetings and appointments
  • Diary management

Skills required:

  • Previous experience in a typist role or if you are looking to get into a secretarial role
  • Excellent typing skills, both fast and accurate
  • Confident and professional telephone manner
  • Ability to communicate with people at all levels
  • Excellent organisational and time management skills
  • Attention to details with the ability to work well under pressure
  • Ideally have proven work experience in a professional office

This is a permanent role to start in January 2022.
