A Supply Chain Manager is required by scientific manufacturing company in Oxford to take ownership of end to end supply chain, including product life cycle planning and management, for a specific set of product lines, working in an extremely fast paced environment. The ideal candidate will have strong supply chain experience within manufacturing, ideally pharmaceutical or medical device.
Responsibilities:
- Manage the entire product life cycle, from introduction of new products to end of life process
- Manage materials during product life cycle internally and at suppliers ensuring optimal levels are maintained while minimising waste, scrap and obsolescence
- Convert demand and build plans to workable materials and production plans
- Manage, coach and motivate a small team
- Manage tactical supplier relationship and performance
- Support supplier audits
Key Skills and Requirements:
- Resilient, tenacious and able to drive change
- Strong background in managing end to end supply chain in a regulated manufacturing environment i.e. pharmaceutical or medical devices
- Current GMP knowledge and ISO 13485
- Strong communication skills across all levels of the business with capability to effectively establish and manage relationships with key internal and external stakeholders
- Advanced Excel user
