Our client based in Salisbury is looking for a Showroom Host to join the team on a temporary basis. The main aspect of this role is to be the first point of contact for all customer coming into the showroom.

Main Responsibilities are:

  • To greet visitors and advise relevant staff of their arrival. Welcome customers and ensure they are directed to the correct person or department (Sales/ Service/ Parts) Offer refreshments. Ensure knowledge of staff movements in & out of the building.
  • Ensure the Tea/Coffee station is kept Clean and tidy & Maintain Reception, Coffee machine, Seating Area and Brochures: Checking the area at least every 2 hours. Cleaning the worktop, washing cups and checking the coffee machine and fridge is fully stocked.
  • Regularly inspect the washrooms to ensure that they are clean and fresh and being cleaned to required standard.
  • Ensure only up to date magazines/ brochures are available in reception.
  • To be available to staff external product placements
  • Responsible for booking of the Boardroom.
  • Provide refreshments for Boardroom Meetings
  • Take customers details and hand out brochures when required
  • To build an understanding and knowledge of the full range of products and services
  • To maintain the customer environment to an immaculate standard, reporting any maintenance issues to the General Sales Manager
  • Help to maintain the presentation and cleanliness of the Display cabinets.
  • To contribute to the business and department, making recommendations for improvements to Manager
  • To assist with promotions and events as required by the Marketing Department
  • To support the Sales Manager and team effort and build good relations with fellow team members
  • Scanning workshop job cards on to our digital storage system
  • Connection and assignment of sales vehicles to customers on the in-house system

Key skills:

  • Excellent customer service experience
  • Well presented
  • Previous experience within a similar role
  • IT Literate

The working hours for this role are Monday – Friday 8:30am – 5:30pm.
