A Senior Network Analyst is required on a fully remote basis to join an established business based in Dorset, UK.

The role of Senior Network Analyst is responsible for analysing and diagnosing complex technical problems with existing systems.
Key Responsibilities
  • To act as SME to the organisation for IP connectivity, networking and associated technologies.
  • To identify new systems, and ways of working to improve efficiency, reduce cost and risk.
  • To lead the technical transition of new systems from solutions teams, ensuring criteria for user and technical acceptance testing, documentation, training, management are met in keeping with organisational goals and technical architectural principles.
  • To work closely with Solutions, Innovation and development teams in providing input into their development and testing
  • To ensure the operational integrity and availability of all data and system configurations held on equipment and key pieces of supporting infrastructure.
  • To lead investigations, take ownership for the resolution of incidents that are escalated to the team from other areas of IT, liaising with and escalating to 3rd party suppliers or internal IT teams as appropriate
  • To share and impart knowledge to network & telecoms and broader IT teams.
Qualifications required
Essential – Cisco Certified Network Professional (CCNP, ROUTE/SWITCH/TSHOOT) or equivalent experience, LAN, WAN, Wireless, Firewall management and configuration; (e.g. Checkpoint, Palo Alto, Fortinet, Cisco ASA), IP Telephony – Skype for Business, Cisco Teams or similar
Advantageous – ITIL V2 or V3 Foundation,
Experience required
Advanced configuration of Cisco and Meraki switches and routers and wireless access points. Thorough understanding of network architectures.
Experience working in a large network environment (200+ sites) with multiple WAN technologies. Support experience of IP telephony and call centre technologies.
Microsoft Office including Word, Excel and Visio. Experience of Microsoft Lync/Skype for Business implementations and a demonstrable support capability.

Salary/Benefits:

Salary is between £40,000 – £43,000 p.a. depending on experience, plus performance related bonus, incentives, and an outstanding personal development program. Benefits include 25 days holiday plus all bank holidays, pension, and a great social working environment.
