Research Scientist – Fabrication – Oxford – £40,000
An exceptional opportunity for a Research Scientist specialising in Target Fabrication, in a growing experimental physics team, has become available. Working on ground breaking energy generation experiments with one of Oxford’s most exciting new companies.
The role will couple the delivery of fabricated targets for ongoing experiments with research into new methods of fabrication, assembly and metrology; working with a team of highly talented Scientists, Engineers and Technicians.
The ideal Research Scientist will hold a PhD in a relevant discipline, with good physics and engineering knowledge, as well as experience with fabrication and metrology in a research setting. To be successful in this role you will be able to manage independent research whilst meeting ongoing experiment deadlines, through excellent organisational skills and technical abilities.
