Procurement Officer – Competitive salary – Chipping Norton

We are looking for a Procurement Officer to work for a manufacturer of innovative safety equipment in Chipping Norton. You will be ensuring parts and materials get to the factory in good time for production whilst getting the best value for the business.

As a Procurement Officer, you will:

• Run MRP to check demand and generate orders
• Manage existing suppliers and research new suppliers to support the business
• Support procurement process improvements and cost saving initiatives
• Control day to day purchasing of raw materials

Experience required for a Procurement Officer includes:

• 2+ years’ experience working in manufacturing and purchasing
• Strong IT skills, particularly using the MS Office Suite
• A degree or similar relevant experience
• Able to work effectively in a team environment

The ideal candidate will have some experience in purchasing and be looking for the next step in their career.
