Payroll Administrator – Blandford – up to £22,000

A Payroll Administrator is required for our client based in Blandford on a permanent or temporary to permanent basis. This role would suit someone available immediately or with very little notice period.

The main aspect of the role is to be responsible for the timely and accurate processing of weekly and monthly payrolls, along with providing first class payroll service across the business.

The working hours are flexible, Monday must be an 8.30am start and working hours equate to 37.5 per week. This is a hybrid role working 3 days in the office and 2 working from home.

Main responsibilities:

  • Monthly and Weekly Payroll
  • To prepare and process the monthly payroll for 250 employees, in addition to supporting the weekly payroll process of 1200 employees, ensuring that all team are paid accurately and on time
  • Applying adhoc pay increases, supplements and bonus payments
  • Liaising with MHR, our payroll provider, where required for support and/or queries
  • Payroll Queries
  • Point of contact for payroll queries from Managed Houses and Brewery team
  • Payroll Letters
  • Communicating annual changes to pay rates, live in allowances and benefits
  • Producing payroll letters
  • Pensions
  • Point of contact for pension queries
  • Auto enrolment process for salaried team
  • Benefit Options
  • Opting team in and out of benefits
  • Inform benefit providers of starters and leavers
  • Providing reports and data to benefits providers

Key Skills:

  • Sound experience of Excel – able to perform tasks such as V-look ups and basic formulas
  • Strong experience of working with other Microsoft office tools
  • Experience of working with a payroll software
  • Experience of working with Microsoft Teams as a communication tool would be desirable.
  • Excellent attention to detail and never turns a blind eye
  • Enjoys working with systems and procedures
  • Builds positive relationships and rapport quickly
  • Happy working under pressure and to tight deadlines
