Part-time Payroll & Finance Assistant
Part Time Payroll and Finance Assistant is required for 30 hours per week Monday to Friday 9am to 3pm, for an established organisation based in Poole. However, hours and times are negotiable.
Reporting to the Payroll Supervisor/Finance Manager, you will be mainly focussed on payroll: processing over 100 small payrolls using Sage which are mainly monthly so this would involve setting up new payrolls, calculating holiday pay, making statutory payments, pension auto enrolment, liaising with HMRC. In addition, there would be some general accounts work involved: bank reconciliations and processing online/BACs payments.
You must have experience of payroll, minimum 1 year. General accounts knowledge would be required but the organisation will provide some training. In addition, you will need to have a good eye for detail as you will be processing a high number of daily transactions. Previous experience of Sage and Excel would be essential.
