Inside Sales Executive – Southampton/Hybrid – up to £27,000

Our client, a prestigious company based in Southampton, are currently seeking an Inside Sales Executive to join their growing team.

Responsible for building relationships with assigned accounts to promote the brand and increase market share.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Develop and maintain effective internal and external relationships with key business partners and dealers
  • Support the Field Sales Manager(s) in the development and execution of strategies designed to increase market share and profit with existing accounts
  • Develop territory and manage accounts through outbound sales calls, internal tracking, and coordination in a team environment with SM(s) and BYT members.
  • Input and coordinate the input and reporting of sales forecasts to enable data to be provided to planning.
  • Meet sales goals and objectives set by company management
  • Educate dealers on products and promotions
  • Answer and handle customer phone calls and emails to ensure customer requests are processed
  • Inform customer of unit prices, shipping date, inventory availability, anticipated delays, and any additional information needed by customer
  • Follow up on orders to ensure delivery by specified dates, run open orders report as requested
  • Process and follow up with customer requests, inquiries, and complaints in a timely manner
  • Communicate with Order Analyst, Production, Sales, Shipping, Warehouse, and any other personnel needed to assist in the processing of the customer orders and inquiries
  • Attend meetings, tradeshows and training sessions as required

Key Skills Required:

  • Full knowledgeable in all aspects of order entry system
  • Experience of working on Oracle Management would be beneficial.
  • Order administration and sales experience in a business-to-business environment
  • Must possess experience performing a customer service or inside sales role
  • Must possess a proven track record in meeting established goals
  • Must be team-oriented, possess a positive attitude and work well with others
  • Demonstrated strong and effective verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills

This role will become Hybrid on successful completion of the 6-month probation.
