HR Business Partner – Bournemouth – Salary up to £65,000

HR Business Partner required for our prestigious client based in Bournemouth. As the HR Business Partner, you will work closely with senior stakeholders, including the Group Executive team members for your business areas, building strong and effective relationships and be a trusted advisor on all people matters. Identify and anticipate business needs and ensure people solutions are in place to address them, engaging relevant specialist areas within the people function where required. Providing both operational support and strategic support, you will be responsible for the delivery of People Plan initiatives including those specific to your business area as well as group-wide initiatives.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop a comprehensive understanding of the operational / strategic challenges facing your business unit
  • Play a key role in creating the desired environment where effective performance and development is achieved through coaching and influencing of the executive and management teams
  • Be a solutions-focused individual and have experience in delivering HR services and solutions in a commercially fast paced and changing environment
  • Oversee and handle sensitive and complex HR and ER issues to ensure that the people agenda is maintained and risk to the business is minimised
  • In addition to being a strong technical HR/ER person, you will also have experience of managing multiple HR related projects from initial concept to completion and associated change management implications.
  • Produce reports to analyse data and present proposals to enhance performance, engagement and employee experience to the Leadership team
  • Drive engagement and buy-in for new initiatives with your stakeholder leadership team
  • Actively develop initiatives that support ambition to attract and retain the best people
  • Build and maintain close working relationships with other teams, working closely with the Recruitment, HR, L&D, Comms and Engagement & Talent Management teams to design innovative and proactive HR solutions

Skills and experience:

  • Proven experience of operating as a HRBP providing both operational and strategic support to senior stakeholders up to Group Executive level
  • Experience of delivering complex people initiatives across the employee lifecycle
  • Up to date knowledge of employment law is essential
  • Degree level education or equivalent experience
  • CIPD qualified
  • In-depth knowledge and understanding of complex ER issues
  • Excellent stakeholder management experience
  • Strong data analytical skills with attention to detail
  • Ability to produce and present HR business proposals
