HR Administrator – Bournemouth – £25,000 – £30,000

An experienced HR Administrator is required for our client, a well-established company based in Bournemouth. You will be responsible for providing support and ensuring HR co-ordination and general HR administration tasks are completed in a timely manner.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Management of agency temp workers
  • Provide support for the onboarding process
  • Assist with recruitment, arrange interviews, feedback to candidates and manage internal adverts, update job descriptions as required
  • Absence management to include sickness, maternity and paternity
  • Annual performance assistance
  • Ensure compliance with HR policies, employment law and data protection
  • Assist in process mapping for HR and payroll procedures
  • Time & Attendance – training employees, analysing and running reports, updating system
  • Provide guidance for general employee issues
  • Investigations and disciplinary note taking and report writing
  • Supporting the implementation of an apprenticeship programme
  • Gain and respond to reference checks
  • Following Right to Work in UK requirements
  • Assist with updating and maintaining employee files
  • Provide daily support to managers on agency worker matters
  • Provide payroll support, check monthly payroll and provide essential pay data for the Payroll Manager

Skills and Knowledge Required:

  • CIPD qualification or working towards with the ability to demonstrate good working knowledge of Employment Law and HR practices
  • Payroll experience
  • Time & Attendance system management experience
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office
  • Solid administration skills
  • Excellent communication skills both written, verbal and listening
  • Exceptional organisation skills, with the ability to work at pace and to deadlines
  • Ability to multi-task in a busy, varied role and prioritise your workload
  • Great attention to detail, a positive attitude and the ability to maintain confidentiality and integrity
