Customs Co-ordinator – Christchurch – £20,000

A Customs Co-ordinator is required for our client, a unique international company, with their main distribution centre based at Hurn Airport. As a Customs Co-ordinator, you will report into the Senior Customs Executive and be responsible for providing administrative support to the team.

Key responsibilities:

  • Be the first point of contact for all general enquiries
  • Provide administrative support as required
  • Ensure all customs information is recorded accurately and efficiently on the system
  • Liaise with external agencies regarding customs imports and exports
  • Ensure filing of all paperwork is kept up to date and maintained
  • Answer telephone calls in a professional manner
  • Respond to emails in a timely manner
  • Assist with other administrative duties as required

  • Excellent IT skills with the ability to learn new systems
  • Organised and methodical
  • Great accuracy and attention to detail
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Good team player
  • Ability to work on your own without supervision

The working hours for this role are 7am – 4pm, Monday to Friday equating to 40 hours per week.
