Customer Service Advisor – Ferndown – Competitive Salary

Customer Service Advisor required for our client based in Ferndown. The main aspect of the role is to provide the best possible Customer Service to customers, contributing towards the success of the business by achieving customers’ expectations and fulfilling their needs. Reporting to the Senior Customer Service Advisor, you will ensure orders are processed accurately and monitored through to delivery, within the timeframe whilst adhering to required regulations.

Responsibilities:

  • Handle all customer queries efficiently and in a professional manner
  • Ensure requests for customer orders are processed accurately
  • Build and maintain meaningful relationships with customers and other parties
  • Minimise orders that are written off within set KPI’s
  • Prepare payment, completing required administration accurately and submit in a timely manner
  • Answer all telephone calls promptly and professionally
  • Regularly review the status of courier deliveries and proactively communicate with customers to advise delivery times and resolve delivery issues to the customers satisfaction
  • Maximise the number of existing customers who continue to use the services
  • Ensure accurate data input when creating customer accounts in accordance with procedures
  • Ensure all records are recorded correctly and maintained
  • Deal with complaints in a professional and timely manner, ensuring they are resolved to required standards
  • Report issues that hinder the delivery of excellent customer service to the Senior Customer Advisor
  • Record all customer complaints and compliments
  • Attend relevant training courses as and when required
  • Adhere to customer confidentiality policies and all company policies
  • Undertake other duties as may be reasonably requested

Key Skills:

  • Excellent Customer Service experience
  • Forward thinking and organised
  • Professional telephone manner with excellent communications skills
  • Experience of promoting products and services to existing and potential customers
  • Previous experience within the healthcare sector is advantageous
  • PC literate

Working hours are 8:30am – 5:30pm, Monday to Friday with an hour for lunch.
