Business Development Executive – Bournemouth – Salary £25k with £35k OTE

A Business Development Executive is required for our client, a prestigious business, based in Bournemouth. The successful candidate will be responsible for sourcing potential new clients, identifying new business opportunities for the business development managers, attending field meetings & events to source clients and convert meetings to sales.

This role will be solely office based working 5 days per week from 8:45am to 5:30pm equating to 39 hours. The basic salary is £25,000 with on target earnings of £35,000 uncapped commission.

Main responsibilities:

• Exceeding agreed monthly targets and ensuring that maximum delivery is met against targets through the generation of client meetings
• Meeting and speaking with relevant B2B clients to discuss potential needs and how the company will benefit them
• Have complete understanding of the companies systems and utilise it to show how it’s an essential tool to the clients business
• Combine industry & product knowledge to build strong customer relations over the phone
• Surpassing the sales standards around behaviours and productivity including call volumes and meetings
• Maintain accurate records of sales activity in the system and report as and when required
• Attend field events to find and develop leads

Skills Required:

• Previous B2B experience would be beneficial but not essential
• Experience of working within the Construction Industry would be an advantage
• Understanding of Salesforce or a similar CRM system
• Excellent Microsoft Office skills
• Willing to go over and beyond to achieve company standards
