Admissions Administrator – Bournemouth – £18,000 pro rata

Our client based in Bournemouth are looking for a Admissions Administrator to work in the Admissions and Exclusion department of a busy school. The role will be full time in Term time only.

The working hours are Monday – Thursday 8am – 4pm and Friday 8am – 3.30pm.

The main aspect of the role is to support the leadership tea in all aspects of administration and effective and efficient support.

Main responsibilities:

  • Daily administration for all school related admission and leavers
  • Input of information into all school systems where required.
  • To develop and monitor procedures and processes
  • To assist with exclusions and collating the documentation, managing the hearing process.
  • Administering the transfer of student files to other schools.
  • Maintain and update all records, ensuring it is easily retrievable
  • Manage student record archives.
  • Liaise with all teachers, client and external organisations where necessary

Key Skills:

  • Previous experience within a school environment would be an advantage.
  • Excellent organisational and attention to detail
  • Ability to communicate at all levels.
  • IT Literate
  • Flexible and adaptable to change
