2nd Line IT Support Engineer – Poole – £30K p.a.
A shift-based 2nd Line IT Support Engineer is required by a growing technology company based in Poole. Experience in supporting IT support remotely over the telephone is required.
These are 12 hour shifts, 4 days/nights on and 4 days/nights off
- Relevant and recent experience working in an IT support or IT service desk environment at 2nd line support level
- Technical skills must include TCP/IP, DNS, AD/Group Policies, Anti-Virus, Networking (routers/switches/WAP’s)
- Accreditations or experience should include Microsoft Server/Desktop Operating Systems, Exchange, RDS, Office 365, VMware/Virtualisation, Citrix, Firewalls, Backup, Telephony.
- Experience or understanding of Storage (SAN/NAS), Powershell Scripting, Azure, IOS, SQL, Linux, Symantec Cloud, Webroot, Appsense, Cisco, CheckPoint, Ruckus, Accountancy or CRM systems
Salary and Benefits:
The salary is £30,000 p.a. (including a £5,000 p.a. shift allowance) plus discretionary performance bonus. Benefits include pension, healthcare, free car parking, childcare voucher scheme and staff discounts.
